There is a bunch of them out there, and you just upload your own information and images on a template site
The templates are already layed out and you also have a few choices, I believe that some even set up payment methods.
So my question is does any body know of any template art sites that have worked well for them
At the moment I have my work featured on a photography site which works great as a portfolio site ... but is geared towards photographers.
www.debitonge.zenfolio.com.
cheers

Re: any advice on build it your self art websites?
Wed, May 7, 2008 - 4:53 PMI'm a mac guy and have a subscription to .mac The Homepage feature works ok. Not a lot of bells and whistles but you can display your art in a presentable fashion. The newer versions of .mac have upgraded options I believe. Since I'm running a pre-intel machine, I've opted to postpone upgrading for now. -

Wed, May 7, 2008 - 9:32 PMTemplates schemplates! You want some advice?? OK here goes....
Use a real paid web hosting site (mine costs about $50 per year.) Learn how to type out some basic HTML. Avoid flash like the plague. Have lots of useful content. Test it on as many different browsers as possible. Learn a little bit about search optimization.
